This book contains the full text of Germantown’s seventeenth & eighteenth century town records in their original languages and the English translation. It also includes appendices on the naturalization records of the first residents of Germantown and their land holdings through 1714.
It is the product of fifteen years of research by Mr. Duffin, who is a Distinguished Fellow of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania. It also includes a foreword by Professor Dan Yoder on Germantown’s role in the history of Pennsylvania and German immigration to America.
