Join us at the SAR Genealogical Research Library in Louisville on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, during our regularly scheduled Saturday opening for special programming celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States Navy and Marine Corps. In addition to a new display of related artefacts from the collections of the NSSAR, there will be showings of short World War Two era documentaries about life in the Navy and Marine Corps as well as a raffle drawing to win either a SAR Commemorative U.S. Navy 250th Challenge Coin OR a SAR Commemorative U.S. Marine Corps 250th Challenge Coin.

Join us at the SAR Genealogical Research Library in Louisville on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, during our regularly scheduled Saturday opening for special programming celebrating the life of George Rogers Clark. Think you might have an ancestor who served with General Clark? Here’s the place to learn more! Presented by NSSAR Headquarters staff member and Clark researcher Gina Possanza, the day will include a introductory discussion about the life of General Clark followed by a short walking tour (weather permitting) of local George Rogers Clark historical sites near NSSAR Headquarters. Register in a raffle to win a specially selected gift celebrating the life of General Clark!

Join us at the SAR Genealogical Research Library in Louisville on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, during our regularly scheduled Saturday opening for special programming surrounding Christmas in the American Colonies. Attendees will be able to enjoy specially themed colonial Christmas refreshments, create take-home Colonial-era Christmas ornaments and register for a raffle to win a commemorative tea tin with teabags from Oliver Pluff & Co. of Charleston! And as always, access to over 55,000 volumes relating to genealogy and the American Revolution, as well as affiliate-library subscriptions to on-line databases and genealogy research sites.
